Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter (born July 23rd, 1970) is an American actor from America. She played Cordelia Chase in the series of supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also appeared in Charmed (2004) as well as Kendall Casablanca's role in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was the main character in The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada), the daughter of Christine Carpenter who is who worked in a bird sanctuary, and Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. Carpenter is of Spanish, French, and German heritage (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. Carpenter was also a part of a song-and dance troupe that was a part of Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter's family moved to Rosario Beach (Baja California, Mexico) at the age of Carpenter was just 15 years old. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter embarked on a journey to Europe after she graduated. She returned to San Diego and worked in the video store, working as an aerobics instructor, property management, and as a clerk. She also was a cheerleader for San Diego Chargers football in 1991. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles. She was swimming in San Diego with two male friends at the time that Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist was threatening the group. Both her friends and Hubbard were shot in the fight. Hubbard fled the scene but both of her companions were saved. Hubbard was arrested after being found guilty and sentenced 56 years of prison time for a number of murders. Carpenter stole Hubbard's flashlight one of the police's flashlights, off the shore. The flashlight was a key element of evidence used against Hubbard.
