Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie was born the 10th of December, 1987. She is an American journalist. As a reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to stock car racing when she was granted an pit lane pass. After having graduated from Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. After SceneDaily published her self-made blogs on NASCAR, she gained attention. Vincie was born on the 10th of December the year 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was raised in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family relocated from Warrenton to begin Vincie's high school. She is the daughter of John Vincie and Margaret and she has one older sister. Vincie's grandmother, Eleanor N. Logan was a fifth-grade teacher, while her grandfather was a member of the faculty of Bridgewater College. Vincie was fascinated by journalism from a young age. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. She participated in the track and field, as well as worked as a coach for the school's wrestling team for four years. She took home the 800m relay in the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored and shared with Vincie a lot of information. In 2010, she graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie worked as an intern in the university's Athletics Department. Vincie also held a similar position for the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. She wrote her senior dissertation on the gender gap in auto racing that was centered around female race car driver Danica Patrick. She got interested in the sport once she secured a pit lane pass to the NASCAR All-Star Race. She mentions Krista Voda and Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
