Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (NOH-vitch; Polish: born on November 8, 1985) is a Canadian actress from Canada. Her roles include Andy Jensen, on ABC Family's Kyle XY, and Lacy Rand on Syfy's brief-lived science fiction drama series Caprica. Emily Hartwell (born Maya Hartwell), is her science fiction series Continuum. Recently, she appeared as Sandy on the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz who is Polish-American she attended ninth grade in Poland. She lived there with her uncle , and she attended an institution in Jelenia Gora. Later, she attended Vancouver Film School. Her brother introduced her to Pulp Fiction at the age 10, and she became interested in acting. Her acting career began with the 2002 film Jeremiah and John Doe. In 2007-2009 she was the character Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. She was in Every Second Counts, a Hallmark Channel original film that premiered in the year 2008. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Lacy Rand (a regular of the series) in the TV drama Caprica along with Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani. The following year, she was a guest on Hellcats. In 2012, she was cast as Emily in Jane Espenson's upcoming second season of her romantic comedy web show Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz also played the role of Samantha in The Green Inferno, an Eli Roth horror film. While it was shot in 2012, The Green Inferno was worldwide made available in 2015.In 2017, Apanowicz was cast as Angela in the science fiction thriller film Volition. It premiered on February 20, 2020. Apanowicz was cast as Sandy in the second season of Netflix thriller You.
